A 2016 Ford Fiesta with the 1.0 petrol engine is typically advertised at £5,000: the median of the 447 for sale on AskCar, as of 6 November 2026.

Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 6 November 2026: valid until 16 July 2027.

It failed its MOT on 7 July 2026 (exhaust lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits; rear exhaust has a major leak of exhaust gases) and passed later the same day.

Advisories at the latest test: front brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material; front brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened; front sub-frame corroded but not seriously weakened; and 2 more.

Mileage at that test: 49,946 miles. The advert says 49,000 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 13,000 miles lower than the median mileage of a 2016 Ford Fiesta on AskCar.
