Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 6 November 2026: valid until 19 February 2027.

It failed its MOT on 9 February 2026 (nearside front track rod end ball joint dust cover excessively damaged or deteriorated so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt; offside front track rod end ball joint dust cover excessively damaged or deteriorated so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt; tyre pressure monitoring system malfunctioning or obviously inoperative message on dash; and 2 more) and passed 10 days later, on 19 February 2026.

Advisories at the latest test: front brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened both nearside and offside discs; rear brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened both nearside and offside discs; offside front inner oil leak, but not excessive transmission oil leak; and 1 more.

Mileage at that test: 80,929 miles. The advert says 10,000 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 63,000 miles lower than the median mileage of a 2016 Jeep Renegade on AskCar.
