Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 2 November 2026: the latest record we hold ran out on 29 October 2026; ask the dealer for the current MOT.

It has had 11 MOTs. The latest, on 28 October 2026, failed.

It failed on: nearside headlamp aim too high; offside headlamp aim too high; nearside front anti-roll bar linkage ball joint excessively worn; and 1 more.

Advisories at the latest test: nearside registration plate lamp inoperative in the case of multiple lamps or light sources; nearside front tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge; offside front tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge.

Mileage at that test: 88,913 miles. The advert says 88,000 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 31,200 miles higher than the median mileage of a 2016 Renault Captur on AskCar.
