The dealer is asking £8,995, which is £608 below our market estimate of £9,603. We use UK dealer asking prices, including 10,639 Volkswagen Golf listings, and account for the car’s age, mileage and specification. Since we first spotted the advert 147 days ago, the asking price has dropped by £700. That may be worth mentioning if you discuss the price with the dealer.
