Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 4 November 2026: the latest record we hold ran out on 8 October 2026; ask the dealer for the current MOT.

It failed its MOT on 7 October 2025 (rear shock absorbers has a serious fluid leak both rear; front windscreen wiper does not clear the windscreen effectively) and passed 2 days later, on 9 October 2025.

There were no advisories at the latest test.

Mileage at that test: 105,787 miles. The advert says 103,000 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 29,400 miles higher than the median mileage of a 2017 Volkswagen Golf on AskCar.
