Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 2 November 2026: the latest record we hold ran out on 20 October 2026; ask the dealer for the current MOT.

It failed its MOT on 9 October 2025 (exhaust lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits; exhaust has a major leak of exhaust gases flex; registration plate lamp inoperative in the case of multiple lamps or light sources; and 1 more) and passed 12 days later, on 21 October 2025.

There were no advisories at the latest test.

Mileage at that test: 83,827 miles. The advert says 83,000 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 15,500 miles higher than the median mileage of a 2015 Volkswagen Polo on AskCar.
